On Monday, November 19th – we have the privilege of hosting the Executive Secretary of Rwanda National Women’s Council – Jackline Kamanzi.

Jackline Kamanzi is a Rwandan Gender and Human Rights Activist from 2000. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the National University of Rwanda and a master of Arts in peace studies and conflict transformation from the National University of Rwanda in partnership with Gothenburg University of Sweden.
From 2000 to 2008 she has been working with different organisations including United Nations Association of Rwanda that promotes UN ideals and objectives; Urunana Development Communication for behaviour change with special emphasis on reproductive health and family planning.
In 2008 Jackline Kamanzi was appointed as Director of Litigation Unit in Public Service Commission, (A Custodian of Laws, Policies and guidelines regulating Rwandan Public Service).
From 2014, Jackline Kamanzi was appointed Executive Secretary of National Women’s Council, a Government body that mobilises, advocates and builds women’s capacity to ensure their effective and efficient participation in National Development. This is her current job.
